We all know that people who are willing to bravely jump into a cage and fight another person till knockout or submission have to be somewhat crazy… but the lengths some MMA fighters go to in order to stay healthy? Even crazier.
Cub Swanson, in preparation for his December 9 bout with Brian Ortega, is seen below getting a non-surgical pelvic adjustment via hammer and nail. Look for yourself, I’m not lying.
.@CubSwanson has an unorthodox way of managing the upkeep of his body.

I wouldn’t try that one without a doctor by the way… and even then…
Another fighter known to use strange recovery techniques is Diego Sanchez, who recently revealed to Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Snowden that he gets regular blood reinjections to stay spry. Snowden reported that during this procedure, a doctor “removes 30 milliliters of his blood, uses a centrifuge to isolate the platelets, and injects it back into his body.”
Needless to say, these guys are fearsome competitors, so to each his own. Whatever they’re doing seems to be working just fine.
