Scuba diver Hiroyuki Arakawa has found himself a pal under the ocean.
He named her Yoriko, and they have been best buds for 30 years! He and the Kobudai fish met when he was building an underwater shrine.
As the story goes, apparently the fish, Yoriko, was unable to catch her own food for a time due to exhaustion and injury.
That’s when Hiroyuki stepped in.
He fed her crabs for “about ten days,” and a forever friendship was born.
The fish trusts him and even lets him pet her. Watch the video above and see footage of the two interacting. It’s truly a sight to see!
